Superfood Matcha Smoothie Bowl

INGREDIENTS

• 1 tsp of matcha

• 1/2 cup coconut water

• 1 frozen banana

• 1 cup frozen mango

• 2 handfuls of spinach or other super greens

• 1 tablespoon flax seeds

• (Optional) 1 scoop of vanilla or unflavored protein powder

• Juice of 1/2 a lemon

• Dash turmeric

• Dash of cinnamon

• Some of your favorite toppings such as granola, fruit, seeds etc.

  
  

DIRECTIONS

1. Pour coconut water, lemon juice, protein powder and matcha to blender and blend until mixed.

2. Add flax seed and blend until mixed.

3. Add all other ingredients and blend until smooth.

4. Pour into a bowl and top with your favorite toppings.

Matcha Pancakes

INGREDIENTS - makes 14 - 3 inch panckaes

• 1 tbs Matcha Organics Matcha

• 1 ½ cups all purpose flour

• 3 tsp baking powder

• 1/2 tsp salt

• 1 tbsp white sugar

• 1 ¼ cup milk, warm

• 1 egg, lightly beaten - room temperature

• 3 tbsp butter, melted

• 1 tsp vanilla extract

  
  

DIRECTIONS

1. Sift together dry ingredients.

2. Whisk wet ingredients in a separate bowl until combined.

3. Combine wet and dry ingredients slowly.

4. Scoop a 1/4 cup of batter onto an oiled griddle on medium heat or at 275 degrees.

5. Cook until bubbles start to form and pancakes are golden brown, about 3 minutes on each side.

6. Enjoy with your favorite pancake toppings.
