A LITTLE ABOUT US
With modest beginnings, Matcha Organics came to fruition in 2015 through a father/ son team in the heart of Texas who learned about the great health benefits of Matcha and felt called to share. Matcha Organics is a small family run business working with a family run farm in Okabe, Shizuoka Japan as their sole provider of matcha in the U.S.
Striving to provide the best quality and priced matcha available while also practicing fair trading practices is of utmost importance.
Since the beginning Matcha Organics has been loyal to the same multi-generational packaging company and farms in Shizuoka Japan.
TRADITION AND QUALITY MATTER
Matcha Organics Ceremonial Matcha Green Tea is farmed, harvested, and powdered with the utmost care in Okabe, Shizuoka Japan.
The small family farm we work with takes great pride in producing premium quality matcha while using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Tea trees are shade grown for three weeks. The topmost, greenest leaves are picked, sorted and go through the traditional labor-intensive process of steaming, drying and stone grinding.
