Matcha Organics Ceremonial Matcha Green Tea is farmed, harvested, and powdered with the utmost care in Okabe, Shizuoka Japan.
The small family farm we work with takes great pride in producing premium quality matcha while using traditional techniques passed down through generations. Tea trees are shade grown for three weeks. The topmost, greenest leaves are picked, sorted and go through the traditional labor-intensive process of steaming, drying and stone grinding.
